I have been wanting to do a rant about this but I keep forgetting because world cup has never been in my mind anyway. Yes. My rant is about the world cup. WORLD CUP and the people involved in it. It’s just like the whole Micheal Jackson thing.

Before MJ died, nobody gives a shit about him and after his death, all the people around starts to make a hoo-haa about it. Right.
Just as this year’s World cup. Like even my friends who don’t know how football is exactly played starts going nuts about it and I really mean nuts about it. It’s as though they knew football and they actually gives a damn about it. & I don’t hear them talking about it before the world cup happened or when it is about to happen or whatsoever. I HAVE NEVER BEEN INTERESTED IN IT. I just have to know what exactly is going on because everyone is talking about it and I do support Brazil and Argentina. But that was it. I have friends gambling about it. I totally can’t believe it.

World Cup is just another thing.

It is just another thing that involves the world. That is it. Full stop. Period.
I hear people complaining to me about who didn’t goal when he could have or whatever shit. Hello. Did you even know of his existence before this world cup happened? Do you? Do you?

It’s plain stupid. & this morning when my dad told me the WC is gonna be over soon, I actually sense a relief because the frenzy will be over soon.
And I CAN’T WAIT! Everything will just go back to normal and within days, people around me will stop talking about world cup as though it didn’t happen before. Just wait and see.

People. World cup is just an event. JUST AN EVENT. No need to go hoo-haa about it. It is nothing but a one month frenzy.

I don’t see people going bonkers about the SWE, it also involves the world what. In fact, it does good to the world but nobody gives a damn about it, why? Because it educates people and nobody maybe except our ministers likes education, so nobody gives no shit. WC? It allows people to gamble. To win money. Using football teams as a stake. I won’t deny, there are people who are pretty enthusiastic about WC because their country represent them, it’s like the highest honor to be champion for the next 4 years. Singapore? Hello. We didn’t even play, so what is up with the whole I love WC season shit.

Okay, maybe there are fans for the team. Like me, I supported Brazil since 2002. So I only want to hear news about Brazil.
I just wish to know how far they made it. But that is all. I won’t lose sleep, can’t do work, got obsessive about it. I don’t need to watch it to know.
World Cup does no good to people specially of our age. But then again, everyone eats fried chicken even if they know is unhealthy.

Shall stop my rant here. Finally did it. Bye. :D
