Hello. Today, I am going to bring you guys into the world of magic. Heehee.
YEAH! This is the long awaited DISNEYLAND POST! Haha!
Well, many impatient people would have probably gone to facebook to look at the photos. Don’t think I do not know. Heehee. I was pretty lazy to do this post. I actually even forgot about it.
But HERE IT IS! So people, let me bring you into a land where you forget about today and enter the world of yesterday and tomorrow. :D
So before I went there, there was a need to transfer hotel because I wanted to stay at the Disneyland hotel at all cost this time. The LA was too expensive plus, I met up with Halloween. So, we decided to stay at Disneyland Hollywood Hotel and really enjoy ourselves. Besides, Disneyland and Tsim Sa Tsui were too far from each other.
Arrival at our hotel – Disneyland Hollywood.
Even the mirror that greeted us at the entrance had the Mickey mouse outline.
Not obvious?
This is Henry, the person who assisted us in our check-in and exchange passes. :)
Our 2day passes. Guess who I chose.
I love Donald Duck. SO cute with his short tongue. :p
Our hotel room key. SO SUPERLICIOUS CUTE!
We did the check-in procedures but because the rooms were only ready at 3pm, we decided to hit the theme park first. Because the distance from our hotel to the theme park was still a distance, we had to take the shuttle bus which was made available for free by Disneyland.
Even the bus made me went gaga la please. So god damn freaking cute!
So we were on our way!!! It took us ages to go in ok.
Firstly, from the bus and MTR terminal to the real entrance, it was a pretty far distance.
Secondly, outside is pretty enough to stop the footsteps for photos.
The fountain outside the entrance. Tenissa was asking me if the Mickey Mouse on the surfboard was really being held up by the fountain. Haha. Yes, it’s true.
Trying to imitate the vain Daisy Duck. Too bad my butt wasn’t taken. Haha.
The message board that greeted us as we entered.
Ok. So by the time we entered, there was already this super super super long queue and guess what the queue was for?
MICKEY MOUSE & MINNIE MOUSE!
& I was warmly welcomed by Goofy and Pluto! WAHAHA!!!
And there they go…haha. I will be back!
Nah, I wasn’t that enthusiastic about them. I was more into Chip&Dale. Haha!
They were the first I took photos with.
Ok. It is embarrassing to say to say that till now I can’t tell the difference between the 2 of them. LAOPO!!! Haha. Eh. Don’t laugh at me leh. I have friends who can’t spell my name up till now ok! Sheesh. :X
Played the Buzz Lightyear game first. Basically the games at Disneyland are all meant for kids so the games were rather childish, stupid, boring, kiddish, not my age(looking for the right one).
Out I came & there he was – Buzz Lightyear.
Just waiting for me to take photo. Haha.
He really looks weird. Like, I believe the person inside is looking at the camera, but the mascot eyes aren’t looking at the camera very much eh. Haha.
We tried out the space mountain after that which was actually a roller coaster ride and a very lousy one too. So much turns! I nearly vomited my way out the exit. Goodness me.
Had lunch and my parents went to buy this super long beef hotdog. I could have died in attempt to finish it. So huge. Even Golden Village’s jumbo hotdog is small compared to it.
Started roaming about the Disneyland without the map. Some of the mascot I had to give a miss especially the princesses because there are timings to follow. &I was always late for them. Oh well…
Sleeping Beauty’s castle(which was really small).
Me in the Minnie Mouse’s ears + veil.
Cutesy much. I was almost this close to getting it so I can melt into the mood. I tell you, the ambience of Disneyland is really magical.
The shop which I tried the Minnie Mouse’s ears was known as Pooh Corner.
I love the signboard, really.
Then it was photo taking time!
Minnie! She is SO vain! But her handwriting was very nice despite her gloves. :)
& the CUTEST Eeyore too!
It has so many poses and the droopy eyes just makes you go “awww”… haha.
Here is another one. :D
Somehow, I fell in love with Eeyore here. Haha. Irresistibly cute!
Mickey too, which I just had to kiss! Haha.
Shermeen! I GOT HIS SIGNATURE! BLEH! Haha.
Lastly, TALL Goofy who was also very naughty. Haha.
VERY VERY VERY TALL! Haha.
We headed for the Pooh ride.
You know, although I loved Winnie The Pooh and has like over 20 Poohs sleeping with me every night, I never had much affinity with Pooh. It’s like I have been to Disneyland 4 times at different places BUT I have never ever get to take a photo with it and the closest was when I was in Japan and there she was about 4m away from me and I was queuing for some Pirates of the Caribbean ride which sucked(ok, maybe it didn’t. Whatever).
& so here is a fake one(although still cute) to satisfy my wants. Haha.
After that, we went for the boat ride which was pretty interesting.
Here are the photos:
Alligators and Crocs that looked too real to be fake. However, the second photo looked like the croc is yawning happily eh. :o)
And fire for a final showdown. Haha.
What else. Oh yeah! We caught the Disney Parade after the ride. Just in time.
Not a lot of stuff but was still good.
Come join the Magic!
Gigantic Mickey Balloon.
Chip & Dale in the action.
Snow White and her wishing well along with her 7 babies.
Mouse from Cinderella?
Alice in the Wonderland is now a trend.
The vain(fat) little mermaid. XD
& finally, the main leads of Disney! Haha.
I always find it funny that a mouse keeps a dog as a pet. Haha.
Are you all sick of the post yet? There is still more leh. So you can exit if you dun wanna carry on. :)
After the parade, we were all geared up for the Lion King show.
By then, we were all dead beat and since our room was already ready, we decided to head back for a rest before we went back for the fireworks. I love the hotel room!
Ok. This is not how the room outside look like. This was taken before we left the theme park.
Mickey Head for the toiletries.
Vintage Mickey for Shower Curtains.
Mickey head at the top of the mirror.
& Vintage Mickey at the head of the bed. :D
Rested for awhile and head back to experience the night Disneyland. Gorgeous!
And the fireworks started. It really complements with the music that was playing at the same time. Really breath taking. :D
And there it goes.
This is the best I took with the castle.
Hate taking fireworks with a camera. But they are still beautiful.
After the fireworks, the Disneyland close and everyone had to leave. I went back to my hotel(naturally) and we had this S$60 per person buffet. The buffet wasn’t really that fantastic, international cuisine and they had Roti Prata and Yong Tau Foo but it was our only food source, so we didn’t really had a choice.
Took photo at the lobby with this bronze Mickey. Haha.
And also along my hotel room corridor. :)
Blur photos though, I dunno why either. Maybe because daddy didn’t know how to operate my camera.
There is a part2 but it is not as much as this. So, I should say this concludes my HK trip. Love!
