When day one seems to last for 48hours,

As promised, this vacation post will be an event by event post. So here is day one which was boring and tiring because we practically walked the whole of Tsim Sha Tsui & Mong Kok, not forgetting we lost our way and I had to use the map in order to get my family back to the hotel.

Had to wake up at 5am to catch the 8am flight. I was so tired and I had to literally drag myself out of bed in order to get to the airport on time. Oh, how much I hate such early flight. :(
It was a good thing we took the Cathay Pacific. The last time we took Jetstar, I woke up from the plane ride in such a foul mood.

The breakfast was more than delicious and lucky I took this.
Mummy had the congee which was, I feel not that appealing.

3hours 45mins, we reached Hong Kong around 11 going 12 and checked into our hotel – Kimberly Hotel. I would not recommend it if you are searching for a good hotel. The rooms were rather small. However, if you wan convenience which has many shops and the MTR nearby, Kimberly is not really a bad choice. Its in Tsim Sha Tsui.

See what I mean by small?

Lunch was at a nearby tea house, I do not know what they call it in English but it is known as Cha Can Ting in Cantonese. I love all the food in those small restaurants. That’s where all the hidden dragons are. Though, they were really high in price compared to Singapore.

Cheese Noodles with Pig’s Neck. Delicious.

Normal chicken rice. Still great.

Fried Noodles. Yummy. :D

After that we went to this temple, er, haha…I can’t remember the name of it. I only know that this temple is really famous there and many go there to pray. My parents said the Confucius there got me my good results in Primary 1. & I thought I was hardworking.

Then we headed to Mong Kok which was where all the cheap sales were suppose to be but I think it is no longer cheap. Nevertheless, I got my boots there, FINALLY! Loving my boots. :D
Mummy had a fermented bean curd which I stood very far from. I really wonder how she withstand the smell. DX

We continued walking all the way to the Avenue Of Stars. Oh, if some of you all know, Leslie Chueng’s Death Anniversary is on the 1st of April. So there were people who placed flowers on his hand print board. We also visited The Peninsular Hotel which was where he jumped off from.

*faints* Ford Model T. I was highly reminded of my DH&C which also reminded me of my results which were coming out the next day. Gosh.

The hotel Leslie Cheung jumped off from. DX

I almost died walking back to Tsim Sha Tsui from here. So tiring and so far.
Still, I got back safely with cup noodles for dinner. Muahaha. Even their cup noodles were nice.
Did I mention there was a Ben&Jerry’s beside my hotel? How could I missed it? Haha.

Ok, that’s all for day one. Nothing much. Not exciting. Come back for day 2&3 as I bring on a roll. And I mean the casino kind.

Bye!
