When birthday present #2 comes into picture,
Sunday, March 28, 2010 @ 9:04 PM

Hello people. Haha. I am so so super duper happy today.

Why?

My birthday present #2 came in and I got what I wanted, and that is a new camera!
Browse through many different kinds and crossing out those that were on my list. So before I reveal my baby camera, let me tell you a review of the cameras that were on my mind. :D

Choice #1: Canon G-11

Some of you would already have known, that is the camera which my bf had his hands on. :)
I liked it because it is actually the smallest and most compact pro camera in the market now. However, it is a tad too big although it is classified as compact. I really want a compact one, you know the one you can bring everywhere and not feel burden by it.

Choice #2: Canon S90

This one caught me quite a while back. It is not a pro camera but it is a semi pro. Also known as the little brother of G-11. The specs are roughly the same but the optical zoom and shutter speed differ a little(that’s why it is a semi-pro la). Best thing is that, this is really compact. :D

Choice #3: Canon Ixus 200 IS

This seems like a total bleh compared to the first 2 but this was the first one that caught my eyes, specially when it first came out. But since I am deciding to buy a camera for both personal and school use, I can’t be getting a fun-feature camera. Still, the features and the colours really caught my attention.

Choice #4: Panasonic Lumix LX3

This came as the last choice for me. You would realize it is almost similar to S90. That is because S90 is born to compete with LX3. I had a hard time deciding which was better really. Still, you would realize the pattern in my camera choice; this is the only non-canon camera on the list.

Heehee. So that is for the list of choice. Guess which one I got? ily762
& the answer reveals: I got the Powershot S90! Muahaha.

I guess you guys must be wondering why don’t I just get a good camera straightaway right? & I meant a DSLR. Well. As I said just now, I am looking for a compact pro camera which is for both personal and school usage. You can’t be expecting me to go around with a bulky DSLR right?
I want one that can fit into my bag.

I got my camera today and yup, I am goodness-me happy to buy it.
No regrets so far and everything is working as expected, though I am still exploring around.
Although there are many internal menus but they are really not that difficult to operate. :)

This is my first shot with it. :D
Good focus and the clarity is so much better than my ex-camera, not forgetting my phone.

A self shot in the nostalgic mode(a mode to make your photo look old, like Polaroid.)
Loving this mode much. ^3^

Love Love.

Haha. Ok la. Should stop bragging about it.
By the way, Xiaxue was sponsored this camera, so let here do the talk. Click HERE to read!
Gotta explore more before I go to HK.
Bringing this baby over. :D

Goodnights!
